Where to Go: The Mindful Walk meeting point is at The Salty Dog at 9:00am which is at 50 The Esplanade Torquay.
When to Arrive: Registrations are open from 8:30am (no need to bring your ticket) with the event beginning at 9:00am. The official part of the morning will finish around 10:00am, however we invite you to stay around and hang about with us at Growlers for a cuppa and to share your experience.
What to Bring:
We ask that you to take some time out for just yourself and leave your pets and bubs / small children at home (and experience the joy coming home to your little ones and four-legged friends a conscious being!)
Please keep your belongings to a minimum, however a small backpack is a great option if you would like to bring a water bottle or other items with you on the walk. There will be an opportunity to purchase a drink or coffee at The Salty Dog if you would like at the beginning of the walk.
Comfy shoes and warm clothes, wet weather gear if it is raining, a hat and sun protection if the sun is shining. If it is warm, we will walk along the beach and take off our shoes.
What happens in the event of bad weather or other unexpected event? We plan to continue, irrespective of rain, and use mother nature’s choice of weather as part of our whole Mindful experience! However, in the very unlikely circumstance that the event must be cancelled (due to extreme weather) a cancellation email will be sent out and we will update our website with details. If you are no longer able to attend the event, please feel free to pass your 'ticket' onto a friend (they will just need to register with your name).
Cost: This event is free and the only cost involved is for purchasing any food or drinks you would like before or after the event.
